Noida: The 10th International Documentary Film Festival Noida 2022 was organized on 2^nd September 2022 at Marwah Studios.  14 Directors were honoured for their best films during the award ceremony in various categories, which were Best Documentary, Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Critic, and Special Jury Mention awards for different category. 59 films made by professional filmmakers and 49 films made by students were received for this documentary film festival of which 14 best films were presented with Certificates, awards and cash prizes at Marwah Studios.

The award ceremony was attended by the Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts Dr. Sandeep Marwah; the country’s eminent film producer and President of the Film Federation of India TP Agarwal; Ambassador of Cuba H.E. Alexandro Simancas Marine; former Deputy Director General DD National and founder of Lok Sabha TV Sudhir Tandon and Art and Culture campaigner Dinesh Upadhyay.

“Over the years it has been seen that many challenges are being faced in the field of production and broadcasting of documentary films. Efforts should be made to promote this genre of films. I am glad that this has been compensated to some extent at the 10th International Documentary Film Festival, Noida. He said that this festival used to be a part of the Global Festival of Journalism but it has now been made an independent event, considering the exigencies of time and in the future, it will create new dimensions”. said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor, AAFT University of Media and Arts addressing the large audience.

T.P, Agarwal congratulated Marwah Studios for the 10^th International Documentary Film Festival and extend his full support from Film Federation of India. Sudhir Tondon gave some wonderful ideas to promote these films. Ambassador Alexandro invited film makers to come to Cuba for their next venture. He also announced the festival of Indian Cinema in Cuba. Dinesh Upadhyay emphasised on Indian culture and powerful history of our nation.

On this grand occasion “Indo Cuba Film and Culture Forum” was launched and Sandeep Marwah was announced as the Chair for the same.  Ambassador of Cuba H.E. Alexandro Simancas Marine accepted the patronship of the forum. Nine-minute film from the country of Cuba was also screened.

What makes the movie different is it’s storytelling with a novel approach with a unique mindset said Director Eddy Singh. The story crafted by Avani Modi herself, who also plays the lead in the film along with Pitobash Tripathi and Vikram Kochar.

Avni Modi has previously acted in several Tamil and Gujarati language films. Her debut film in Bollywood was ‘Calendar Girl’ directed by Madhur Bhandarkar for which she received a lot of appreciation.

She has done films in various languages like Hindi, Tamil and Gujarati. Avani’s Gujarati movie CARRY ON KESAR was one of the most acclaimed movie, and has bagged many awards for her performance. She is recipient of two most prestigious awards, GUJARAT GLORY award and STATE AWARD by govt of Gujarat for her movie CARRY ON KESAR. The movie also marks her debut as a writer.

The film ‘Modi Ji Ki Beti’ is the story of mistaken identity. A story on women empowerment and of a girl who makes India proud, with twists and turns the Nari Shakti, the spirit of patriotism is also a high point of the film. The film has been shot on beautiful locations of Himachal Pradesh.

The music directors of the film are Mark D Muse, Uzair and Santokh Singh. Title song of the film is sung by rapper Parry Ji. Music is being released by ‘Brandex Music’, a music and distribution firm owned by Brandex  Media Network Private Limited.

Raipur : Entrepreneur Sandeep Marwah’s contribution to education is immense, to say the least. Recently, his headed Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) University, a premier media and arts university in India, proudly hosted its orientation programme at Hotel Marriott in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Students and faculties from all streams attended the orientation programme with great enthusiasm and interest.
The Chancellor of AAFT University, Dr Marwah, interacted with the students, encouraging them to overcome hurdles, work conscientiously and make a name for themselves in their respective fields.
The chief guest at the event was actor and philanthropist Suniel Shetty  said, “AAFT University aspires (and have been earnestly doing) to mould students into leaders and innovators of tomorrow. The orientation programme also witnessed multiple sessions by industry experts and eminent scholars like Prof. Sanjeev Parashar, chairperson of communications in IIM Raipur, Dr Kiranmayee Nayak, the chairperson of CG state women commission, Ishan Mitra, singer and director, Gaurav Birla, the co-founder and CTO of Studio Augmented, and Akhilesh Anand an anchor and editor of ABP news. The purpose of these sessions was to make the students aware of the abundant opportunities in the field, the skills required, and how AAFT can contribute to their skill-based training.
The University, to its credit, recently launched its ed-tech platform – AAFT Online, co-founded by Mohit Marwah and Akshay Marwah, with the vision to amplify its reach with innovative and advanced-level courses. AAFT Online offers numerous industry-oriented media and creative art courses online like photography, jewellery designing, interior designing, and more. It boasts features like one-to-one mentor sessions and real-world application learning. It has over astounding  number of 60 celebrity speakers as  part of its diploma programmes.
With an incredible legacy of 30 years, AAFT aims to prepare its students across different platforms to compete in the global market through innovative skill-building programmes and with a high rate of placement and employability.

भोजपुरी फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री में लीक से हटकर फिल्मों का निर्माण करने के लिए आगे आई फिल्म प्रोडक्शन हाउस चन्द्रवर्षा इंटरटेनमेंट प्रा.लि. और रामा प्रसाद प्रोडक्शन बेहतरीन भोजपुरी फिल्मों का निर्माण कर रही है। इसी कड़ी में भोजपुरी फ़िल्म “अघोरी” निर्माण भव्य पैमाने पर किया जा रहा है, जिसकी शूटिंग इन दिनों उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ में जोर शोर से की जा रही है। इस फिल्म में केंद्रीय भूमिका में यूनिक स्टार यश कुमार हैं, जिन्हें अलग-अलग और चैलेंजिंग किरदार निभाने के लिए जाना जाता है। फ़िल्म की नायिका एक्ट्रेस यामिनी सिंह हैं। उनकी केमेस्ट्री दर्शकों को खूब भाने वाली है।

गौरतलब है कि जाने-माने फ़िल्म निर्देशक राज किशोर प्रसाद (राजू) और फ़िल्म निर्माता रामा प्रसाद ने इसके पहले यश कुमार के साथ दो भोजपुरी फिल्म अर्धनारी, परशुराम बना चुके हैं। उसके बाद रामा प्रसाद प्रोडक्शन, ब्लू कोरल्स एंटरटेनमेंट प्रा. लि. बैनर के तले एक साथ 4 भोजपुरी फिल्मों का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। फिलहाल चारों फिल्मों में से यूनिक स्टोरी के साथ बनाई जा रही भोजपुरी फ़िल्म “अघोरी” की शूटिंग शुभ मुहूर्त करके लखनऊ में शुरू कर दी गई है।

भोजपुरी फिल्म “अघोरी” में केंद्रीय भूमिका में यश कुमार काफी अलग किरदार में नजर आने वाले हैं। उनके साथ बतौर हीरोइन यामिनी सिंह अपनी अदा का जादू चलाते हुए नजर आने वाली हैं। इस फिल्म के निर्माता रामा प्रसाद हैं। निर्देशक राज किशोर प्रसाद (राजू) हैं। फ़िल्म के लेखक एस.के. चौहान हैं। संगीतकार मुन्ना दुबे, डीओपी जहाँगीर हैं। मारधाड़ प्रदीप खड़का, नृत्य महेश आचार्य, कला अवधेश राय का है। प्रोडक्शन कंट्रोलर जेपी हैं। फ़िल्म के मुख्य कलाकार यश कुमार, यामिनी सिंह, अवधेश मिश्रा, मनोज टाईगर, अमित शुक्ला, महेश आचार्य, विष्णु शंकर बेलू, सुबोध सेठ, रोहित सिंह मटरू, सोनिया मिश्रा आदि हैं।

विदित हो कि फिल्म निर्देशक राज किशोर प्रसाद (राजू) यश कुमार के साथ टोटल 5 फिल्में कर चुके हैं। पहली फिल्म पहली भोजपुरी फिल्म लुटेरे, दूसरी फ़िल्म अर्धनारी, तीसरी फिल्म सुरक्षा, चौथी फ़िल्म परशुराम, पांचवी फिल्म जानवर और इंसान… और अब छठवीं, सातवीं, आठवीं फ़िल्म अघोरी, शूल तथा मृत्युदंड है। यामिनी सिंह के साथ बतौर निर्देशक वे पहली बार फ़िल्म कर रहे हैं। 2 फ़िल्म अघोरी तथा मृत्युदंड में यामिनी सिंह उनके निर्देशन में काम कर रही हैं।

भोजपुरी सिनेमा के सुनहरे दौर में बेहतरीन फिल्मों के निर्माण की कड़ी में भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘तमन्ना – एक और प्रेम कथा’ की शूटिंग भव्य मुहूर्त करके विधिवत पूजा पाठ और मंत्रोच्चारण के साथ उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर में शुरू कर दी गई है। जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि लखनऊ से आए मुनींद्र शर्मा पर्दाफाश चैनल के मुख्य संपादक थे। विशिष्ट अतिथि गोरखपुर प्रेस क्लब अध्यक्ष मार्कंडेय मुनि थे। उनके अलावा इस शुभ अवसर पर कई गणमान्य जन उपस्थित रहे और सभी ने पूरी टीम को बधाई देते हुए फिल्म की सफलता की कामना किया।

गौरतलब है कि मां शारदा कला जगत बैनर के प्रोपराइटर मनोज कश्यप एवं जी. ब्रदर्स फिल्म प्रोडक्शन बैनर के प्रोपराइटर गजेन्द्र त्रिपाठी द्वारा निर्मित की जा रही भोजपुरी फ़िल्म ‘तमन्ना – एक और प्रेम कथा’ का निर्माण भव्य पैमाने पर किया जा रहा है। जाने माने फ़िल्म निर्देशक उमर खान के कुशल नेतृत्व में भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘तमन्ना – एक और प्रेम कथा’ की शूटिंग विधिवत पूजा-अर्चना के साथ भव्य मुहूर्त करके उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर में शुरू कर दी गई है। यह फिल्म हर वर्ग के दर्शकों को ध्यान में रखकर बनाई जा रही है. इस फिल्म की शूटिंग उत्तर प्रदेश के जिला गोरखपुर के विभिन्न स्थानों पर की जा रही है। इस फिल्म में केंद्रीय भूमिका में रितेश पांडे, ऋचा दीक्षित, शुभी शर्मा नजर आएंगे। उनकी कमेस्ट्री दर्शकों का फुल इंटरटेनमेंट करने वाली है। एक स्पेशल गाने में मिस जम्मू अनारा गुप्ता अपने अदा का जलवा बिखेरने वाली हैं।

फिल्म के कहानी के बारे में निर्देशक उमर खान ने कहा कि ये कहानी बहुत ही अच्छी है जोकि आप सभी दर्शकों को पुरानी यादों को ताजा कर देगी। दो समुदाय कैसे एक साथ रहकर भाईचारे का संदेश देते हैं, यह फिल्म का मुख्य सार है।साथ ही एक्शन, रोमांस, कॉमेडी, फैमली ड्रामा से भरपूर फिल्म है। बाकी आप सभी को फिल्म देखने के बाद सब पता चल जाएगा।
